The head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, presented the new Real Estate Coordination Window on Wednesday, January 22. Brugada Molina highlighted that the main purpose of this mechanism is to streamline procedures, combat corruption, and provide legal certainty to investors.
During her speech, Brugada explained that through this window, entrepreneurs can check the status of their procedures, directly resolve issues, receive support, and legal guarantees at every requested step. She emphasized the importance of ensuring that investments in CDMX are sustainable and benefit residents without generating gentrification in the capital.
The Real Estate Coordination Window aims to simplify timelines by speeding up administrative processes and dealings with the relevant secretariats. A single file will be established to standardize the requirements for viable projects, coordinating all parties involved in the specifications of each initiative.
Regarding the integration of the window, Alejandro Encinas detailed that several secretariats and entities will participate, such as Planning, Government, Environment, Integral Risk Management, Mobility, Water, General Comptroller, among others. The official emphasized the importance of inter-institutional coordination to ensure transparent and efficient processes that promote the city’s development without negatively impacting its residents.
The Real Estate Coordination Window will act as a resolution tool with an inter-institutional focus for real estate development in the capital. This mechanism will allow individuals to follow up on their projects with the relevant dependencies, obtaining the necessary advice for their processes and dealings.
